LAS VEGAS -- Serkus Act owner Stan Goff finally won the Finger Bowl's Abe Gibron Trophy.
The Finks League's longest tenured owner won his first league championship in Week 17 with a 37-31 victor over the Bellagio Card Sharks at the Sam Boyd Silver Bowl. Serkus was led by MVP PK Kaeding SD with 15 points, tying RB T. Jones NYJ's 15 points for the highest scoring total in the title game.
Goff, who came into the league in its second season, had previous runner-up finishes in 2000 and 2002. Goff won this year's title with a couple of his favorite players, QB Romo DAL and RB Barber DAL, from his beloved Cowboys.
For the championship, Goff earned $382.50 for first place and receives the Gibron traveling trophy for the first time.
